Notice pursuant to Art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003

Dear Visitor,
Assofranchising Servizi s.r.l. has organized the WEB FRANCHISING EXPO, an entirely virtual fair event, to promote and develop the franchising phenomenon in its various forms, with the specific aim of bringing together Franchisors (WFE exhibitors) and visitors interested in the world of franchising.
In order to make these aims possible we have decided to encourage participation to the event making it entirely free of charge and, at the same time, each visitor is required to complete a compulsory registration, in order to access the event.
The registration does not, as you probably already know, require input of your sensitive data. The only data required are those necessary to ensure the success of the event and its usefulness for exhibitors and visitors alike. Each visitor will, in fact, have the possibility to access his/her own data and view the compatibility percentages with each exhibitor, thus directing his/her choices and browsing the WFE website in a more informed and efficient manner.
Further to the above, as organizers of the WEB FRANCHISING EXPO event, we would like to inform you that the Italian Legislative Decree No 196 of 30 June 2003 ("Personal Data Protection Code") sets out the provisions for the protection of persons and other subjects with regard to the processing of their personal data.
In compliance with said regulation, your personal data will be processed according to the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of your privacy, rights and liberties.
Pursuant to Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree No 196 of 30 June 2003, we hereby specify the following information:

1. The data provided by you will be used for the following purposes:
a)	To quantitatively and qualitatively determine the compatibility between the individual visitor and WFE exhibitors, by creating a user profile for each visitor.
b)	To communicate data contained in the user profile and user identity to the exhibitors who request the data to contact the visitor exclusively for the duration of the WFE. To allow the visitor to know the compatibility percentages between him/her and the WFE exhibitors.
c)	To facilitate profitable and targeted encounters between visitors and WFE exhibitors, through activities mentioned in the points hereto.
2. The data will be processed using solely IT and electronic tools and methods and stored on electronic media by the data controller, using all measures that guarantee security and confidentiality of your data.
By using identification codes provided following registration, each visitor may at any time access his/her profile and view his/her own personal data as well as the compatibility percentages with the WFE exhibitors.
3. Conferral of your personal data is mandatory given the data processing purposes as outlined above, as well as those of WEB FRANCHISING EXPO, an event intended to promote useful encounters between exhibitors and visitors in the franchising world. Refusal to confer your personal data will determine the impossibility to access WFE.
4. The data you provide will be communicated to the exhibitors present at the WFE that request them, as well as to our collaborators in order to carry out tasks entrusted to them. Refusal to provide your consent to the above mentioned communication will also determine the impossibility to access WFE, and therefore to fulfil its main scope.

6. You may exercise your rights towards the data controller at any time, pursuant to Article 7 of Italian Legislative Decree No 196 of 30 June 2003, which is reproduced hereunder for your convenience:

1. A data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.
2. A data subject shall have the right to be informed:
a)	of the source of the personal data
b)	of the purposes and methods of the processing;
c)	of the logic applied to the processing, in the event of data processing carried out with the aid of electronic means;
d)	of the identification data concerning data controller, data processors and the designated representative, pursuant to Section 5(2);
e)	of the organisations or categories of organisations to whom personal data may be transmitted or who can acquire knowledge of them in their capacity of designated representative in the territory of the country, officers or appointees.
3. A data subject shall have the right to obtain:
a)	updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;
b)	cancellation, transformation in anonymous form or blockage of unlawfully processed data, including that whose storage is unnecessary in relation to the aims for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
c)	 a statement that the operations indicated at letters a) and b), including their content, have been made known to those whom the data has been communicated or released, except in cases where this reveals to be impossible or requires the use of means that are clearly disproportionate to the protected right.
4. A data subject shall have the right to completely or partially oppose:
a)	for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data regarding him/her, even if relevant to the aims of its collection;
b)	processing of personal data regarding him/her for the purpose of mailing advertising or direct sales material, or for carrying out market or commercial communication surveys.

The rights outlined in the personal data protection code can be exercised by the data subject through a direct request addressed to the data controller, at the addresses listed in point 5 hereto.
